Electrical package for minor league stadium includes power, lighting, and emergency backup system
For a new baseball stadium in Madison, AL, the electrical package included installation of all site power and lighting, distribution panels, and lighting control systems. Eldeco also provided lightning protection, full building ground system, fire alarm system, tele/data systems, access controls, CCTV, and A/V raceways.
Primary power from Huntsville City Electric’s utility transformers was distributed to two 2500-amp switchboards. Emergency backup is provided by a 250kw standby diesel generator.
The stadium is home to the Rocket City Trash Pandas, the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels.
