Renovation of TIAA offices in Charlotte brings major updates to existing space

Any office upfit can be challenging.  But the interior demolition and extensive renovation of the TIAA offices in Charlotte, NC brought a unique challenge: 2.9 million square feet in multiple buildings, including office space, a conference center, and auditorium, and an atrium.

Eldeco’s electrical installation included new LED energy-efficient lighting throughout, a state-of-the-art Lutron digital lighting control system with campus-wide graphics, furniture connections and floor box system in existing raised-access floor, a fire alarm system upgrade, and a 275″ LED display in the lobby.  A new rooftop terrace benefited from an electric fireplace, Audio/Visual components, and LED lighting.

Eldeco also utilized its own prefabrication team to accelerate in-wall and under-floor rough-in, increasing our efficiency on this project.

After nearly two years of construction, TIAA employees returned to a completely updated space in late 2022.
