Design-Build project lights up Charlotte’s South End
This design-build construction of a new office tower spanned 23 stories and 738,000 square feet. Eldeco provided the full electrical design and full 3D BIM coordination for the project, which includes 8 levels of parking deck, 15 stories of class A office space, and a penthouse.
Power distribution is provided by two 4000A switchboards, one 4000A busway, and one 3000A busway, with a 750KW genset providing emergency power. A separate 750 KW generator provided backup power for the tenant’s MDF and IDF rooms.
The accent “x-bracing” is illuminated with DMX controlled lighting.
