From design to reality, Eldeco powers Charlotte Pipe and Foundry’s move to new state-of-the-art facility.
Long before dirt started moving at the site of Charlotte Pipe and Foundry’s new home in Oakboro, NC, Eldeco was on the job.
Our in-house electrical engineering and design team laid out the complex electrical system that would power the new cast iron foundry, using 3D modeling and coordination to bring the electrical system to life on screen. Then our electrical construction team brought it to life on site, with full installation of all electrical gear, connections to major components, lighting, and receptacles for the entire facility. Trimble was used to expedite construction, including locating all underground conduit duct banks and stub ups. Our Prefabrication team constructed the underground service conduits and 25KV duct bank and delivered to the site ready for installation.
The 570,000 square foot facility includes induction melting furnaces, pipe and fitting manufacturing, water treatment, shipping areas, and an office building.
