Eldeco Apprenticeship Program

Our Apprenticeship Program has partnered with the National Center for Construction Education and Research to meet the training needs of our employees. Through this program all employees have the opportunity to sharpen their skills to better themselves individually as well as become highly trained assets to Eldeco.

About Our Apprenticeship Program

Our Apprenticeship Program is a four-year program, a listing of the areas of study by year is below:

First Year:

• Basic Wiring
• Electrical Theory
• Applied Math
• OHM’s Law
• Safety
• CPR
• First Aid

Second Year:

• Advanced Electrical Theory
• Transformers
• Generators
• Interpreting the NEC
• Starters

Third Year:

• Commercial and Industrial Wiring
• Motor Controls
• Grounding
• Blueprint Reading
• Fiber Optics
• Line Logic

Fourth Year:

• Electronics
• Electrical Design
• Fire Alarms
• Programmable Controllers
• Advanced Motor Control

Our apprenticeship program is also available for those who cannot attend classes. The course materials will be issued to the student who will then be allowed to study the program at his or her own convenience. Upon completion, they will then meet with a regional instructor for testing and performance evaluations.
