Safe + Sound Week 2018 at Eldeco
This week (August 13-19) is Safe + Sound Week! Observed by the National Safety Council, OSHA, the American Industrial Hygiene Association and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health.
The idea behind Safe + Sound Week is to raise awareness for safety and health programs that effectively locate workplace hazards and find ways to fix them.
Preventing Workplace Hazards at Eldeco
Eldeco’s 2018 Safety Campaign is focused on a similar message to the one Safe + Sound Week is promoting. Our campaign is called “Are You S.A.F.E.?,” which stands for Stop, Assess, Find and Engage. In other words, we ask that employees across all levels of management take an active approach to finding and stopping workplace hazards, before they cause injuries.
This week, in honor of Safe + Sound Week, the Eldeco team demoed VR training for safety.
