Blueprint For Managers
Last November, ELDECO leadership made the decision to participate in an ongoing, systematic leadership and management skills development training program called Blueprints For Management. In our Greenville location, we meet monthly to cover management and supervisory core competencies that support our commitment to quality results. They include motivating our staff to reach higher levels of performance excellence, managing change smoother, communicating better (internally and externally), creating “totally satisfied” customers, setting strategic goals, accomplishing win/win relationships, protecting assets, recruiting and retaining high performing successful employees, managing stress to defeat accidents…just to name a few.
According to Allen McKinney, our President and CEO, “As part of our ongoing commitment to our clients, our employees, our community and our industry, it seemed natural for us to participate in a company-wide training program that emphasizes the embellishment of our team members’ human engineering soft skills. ‘Blueprints’ helps us perform within the relationships we’ve built over the past 43 years better. And, in doing so, we help our clients meet the demands of their clients better. Everybody wins!”
The photos below shows our Greenville office participating in a case-study designed to improve our delegation skills so that our managers and supervisors can maximize employee output without increasing costs.
